Recognition is given to professionals who foster cutting-edge initiatives

São Paulo, March 2020 – Eurofarma, a Brazilian multinational with its own operations in 20 countries in Latin America and a fierce innovation advocate, ranked among the three finalists for the IT Executive of the Year award in the Pharmaceutical Industries category. Organized by IT Mídia, the award targets CIOs and IT industry executives who promote outstanding initiatives, having contributed to the company’s business and their own careers.

This was the first time the winners were announced online, due to the current scenario regarding the coronavirus outbreak in Brazil. In this edition, 376 registrations were analyzed, including 248 CIOs and other 128 professionals in the market. The list of competitors was defined based on an assessment of the initiatives by a judging committee organized by IT Mídia and made up of experts in the technology market and professionals from Korn Ferry.

“We were then winners last year and ranked among the finalists this year. Contributing to Eurofarma’s digital transformation makes me proud, especially when counting with the collaboration of such a competent and talented team”, Daniel Ferreira, Eurofarma’s Information Technology director, points out.
