São Paulo, October 2020 – Eurofarma, a Brazilian multinational present in 20 Latin American countries and a pioneer in outsourcing services in Brazil, was named best pharmaceutical company in the Production and Packaging Outsourcing category of the Sindusfarma Quality Award. The event took place Tuesday night (October 6), and was broadcasted online directly from the World Trade Center (WTC), in São Paulo.

“Eurofarma is elated to receive this award, which reinforces our commitment to always offer quality products and services to society, perpetuating the legacy of our founder Galliano Billi, who in 2016 was named the first patron of the Sindusfarma Quality Award, for his dedication to excellence at all stages of drug production. Dr. Galliano passed away this year, but we are sure that he would be proud of and very grateful for this recognition,” celebrates Maria Augusta Mota, manager of the Outsourcing Services business unit at Eurofarma.

The ranking is compiled annually by Sindusfarma (Industry Syndicate of Pharmaceutical Products in the State of São Paulo) and was audited by KPMG. The 24th edition of the award featured the best suppliers and service providers from 23 categories of the pharmaceutical industry, divided into five classes: Packaging Material; Raw Material; Service Providers; Machinery and Equipment; Materials, Equipment, Instruments; and Quality Control Services.
