Eurofarma is a finalist for the 100+ Most Innovative Companies in the Use of IT 2020 Award

São Paulo, September 2020 – Eurofarma, a Brazilian pharmaceutical multinational present in 20 Latin American countries, was among the three finalists for the 100+ Most Innovative Companies in the Use of IT 2020 award in the Pharmaceutical Industry category. Organized by IT Midia in partnership with PwC, the award brings together and assesses projects that have generated business impacts, revealing the panorama of the digital transformation advancement in companies throughout Brazil. This year, the best companies were announced on the first day of IT Forum Anywhere, a digital experience fostering relationships and the exchange of experiences among technology professionals.

Eurofarma was ranked second with the Eva for Alexa skill case. Eva (Eurofarma Virtual Assistant) is a humanized virtual assistant with artificial intelligence, also developed for use on Alexa devices (Amazon’s voice service, which helps its users in their daily tasks through voice commands) in Brazil. Eva is able to provide users with a variety of information, such as details on job opportunities offered by the company, discount programs, registering new suppliers, among others.

This year, the award received 241 submissions. A total of 100 cases were classified, and 22 executives received the award for most innovative executives in their categories. Eurofarma featured at the 84th position among the 100+ Most Innovative companies in the general ranking.
