The “Amigo Residente Eurofarma” [Eurofarma Friendly Resident] project offers exclusive content to expand the partnership with these healthcare professionals
São Paulo, November 2020 – Eurofarma, a Brazilian multinational present in 20 Latin American countries, living by its belief in appreciating the Brazilian medical community, has expanded its support project for resident doctors and launched a distance learning platform, whose goal is to bring quality information and contribute to the daily work of these healthcare professionals.
Through the www.amigoresidenteeurofarma.com.br website, residents will have access to courses, medical lectures, webinars, articles, podcasts, scientific journals, and other high-quality content developed by universities, professors, and partner institutions. Doctors need to inform their CRM (Regional Council of Medicine) number in a brief registration process to have access to the materials.
“Four years ago, Eurofarma started an exclusive program for residents, providing, during face-to-face visits, information about drugs, correct indications, drug interactions, among others. With the release of the platform, we take an important step to share knowledge and support the training of these professionals, who lead extremely busy lives between studies and shifts,” Roberta Junqueira, Commercial Director of Eurofarma, said.
The theme chosen for the launch of the platform was mental health, a discipline that gained even more notoriety with the impacts caused by the coronavirus pandemic. The four-module course “Psychopharmacology of Mental Disorders” was developed in partnership with the Centro de Estudos Paulista de Psiquiatria [Paulista Center for Psychiatric Studies], which brings together doctors from the Department of Psychiatry of the Paulista School of Medicine of the Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp). The first module, called Mood Disorders, will be taught on November 26, starting at 7 p.m., and will address the following topics: Neurobiology of Depression, Bipolar Disorder, and Suicide Risk. Psychiatrist Jair Mari will coordinate the works, which will also include psychiatrists José Alberto Del Porto and Elson Asevedo, all from Unifesp. Registration is free and available directly on the project website.
