Ecological trail

We believe in broad and sustainable development, which always seeks economic, social and environmental balance.
Therefore, we inaugurated, at our Itapevi Unit, the Eurofarma Ecological Trail

With a total length of 1.2 thousand meters, the trail is located in a protected area of ​​the Atlantic Forest, with several native species of fauna and flora.

The path is divided into two parts: the first, named Trilha das Figueiras, is 1 km long, while the second, Trilha das Orquídeas, has a route of 200 meters. Both are of moderate difficulty and, to help with the project, the company hired a biologist, who collaborated with the identification of the path, carefully opened without causing any impact on the local biodiversity.

The Itapevi Complex has approximately 30 thousand m² of preserved area. In a study carried out on the local biodiversity, species of amphibians, birds, mammals and reptiles were mapped, such as toucan, caxinguelê squirrel, marmoset, tegu, jararaca and carcará. Regarding flora, there are several native species, some even on the list of those in extinction, such as the araucaria, fig tree and the fern or fern tree.

For the launch, we took 360° images to set up a special virtual tour, where people can navigate and discover everything about the local fauna.
